Sea Day – Good Friday

Good Friday for us was a sea day between Lifou and Fiji.

There are a  lot of first time cruisers on the ship and there was lots of talk on the beach at Lifou of sea sickness being prevalent on our first two sea days.  There was a good deal of rock and roll and we did feel subdued at times but put it down to jet lag and sleeping in irregular patterns.  On one night as we were heading to the theatre a woman did run out very fast heading for the ladies and we thought she was feeling ill.  When we got into the theatre – right at the front of the ship – we felt some heave and roll and decided perhaps it was a good time to call it a day!

But, having said that, we’ve once again survived unscathed so perhaps we have developed some sea legs over the years without realising it.

As you can see, the weather has now settled down and we have pretty much a flat calm.

By the way the straighteners have now been out and the lippy is going on, so things are getting serious ....
