Floating Pleasure Palace - Below Deck 12 to Deck 5

There are then a few oddments as you move down from Deck 12, for example the Library on Deck 10 -

Then a sort of Eco area -

and on Deck 6, an iLounge ....

Deck 5 is one of two decks where most of the public rooms lie.  It's also where the ship's (pay extra) speciality restaurants are situated. There's the Tuscan Grill, an Italian style steakhouse,

Blu for Aqua Class guests (that's the 'class' above us),

Silk Harvest giving a taste of the Far East

and Murano, offering a contemporary take on classic French cuisine.

There's a large lounge bar on this deck, the Ensemble Lounge -

Off this lounge is Michael's Club, a bar we used to like to frequent when we were on the sister ship 'Eclipse' in 2012.  We weren't allowed in any longer as we're not in a suite!

Then comes one of our favourite haunts to drop in to - the Cafe al Bacio.  Normally you'd pay a little for the more upmarket beverages in here, but not if you have a free drinks package!

Opposite this is the 'Bistro on Five'.  This is also a 'pay extra' place, although you never pay as much as you would on shore for the same.  It's almost like a sort of 'top-up' payment that they ask for.

Still moving towards the front of the ship there are what they call the Galleria Boutiques -

and then opposite these is the so-called 'Art Gallery' area which is a bar when they aren't doing their famous 'art auctions' ....

Their 'photo gallery' is beyond here (no photos allowed as they want you to but one of you that they have taken - only $20 a punt!)

By now we've reached the front of the ship and on Decks 5 and 4 is the Solstice Theatre -

and now we're on Deck 4 - see the next blog post.
